*Potential Topic ideas for Jerimiah’s training: 

“Equity Session”

Each session is custom-designed for the audience and what their goals are, but generally, it will be 1.5+ hours and consist of about three of the following components:

  1. Introduction to Equity
  2. Defining Key Terms
  3. Interactive activities, small group discussions
  4. Fixed Mindset vs. Growth Mindset ==> Antiracist Growth Mindset
  5. Disruption for Good (why it is necessary to disrupt the status quo and institutionalized practices to be equity-advancing)
  6. Intro to Diversity and Inclusion
  7. Implicit Bias
  8. IMPACT Equity Toolkit Training — this is a longer training that provides simple tools (think “equity lens”) for looking at your own policies and practices and discovering inequities, finding evidence, and then making recommendations for change
