FREE WEBINAR:
Planning Urban Forestry Projects for the High-Speed Rail Grants

The California High-Speed Rail Authority in cooperation with CalFire has announced $2.5 million in urban forestry grants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with applications due April 30. CAUFC and CA ReLeaf will offer a webinar on how to design a great tree planting project and improve your chances of being successful. We’ll cover the specific requirements for these grants (vicinity to the rail line, funding amounts, disadvantaged communities, etc.) as well as general information on planning a tree project with the greatest GHG potential (how to choose species, where to plant).

  • Presenter: Kelaine Ravdin, Urban Ecos
  • Date: March 31
  • Time: 1:30-2:30
  • RSVP here to receive the access code to join the webinar.

Although some aspects of this presentation will be unique to the High-Speed Rail grants, much of the information will be applicable to other GHG grants that involve urban forestry, so don’t hesitate to join if you’re considering other opportunities.

Places are limited, so book early!
