Wildlife Best Management Practices for the tree care industry in California

The Tree Care for Birds and Wildlife project is a state-wide effort to enhance habitat through tree care practices. Begun in 2015, the project focuses on tree care to protect birds and other wildlife during and beyond nesting season as well as on ways to enhance habitat for birds and other urban wildlife. Its key strategic approach is to develop Best Management Practices which will inform the standard for specialized training and certification for tree care specialists in California.

The California Urban Forest Council, Sacramento Region Chapter “Learn at Lunch” series provides advanced educational opportunities for urban forestry professionals and the public. Learn at lunch presentations are provided every two months. Sessions are free. ISA CEU’s are requested for each session. Lunch is not provided.
