The California Natural Resources Agency announced that the solicitation period for their Environmental Enhancement & Mitigation (EEM) Grant Program is now open. The EEM Grant Program funds local, state and federal governmental agencies and non-profit organizations for projects that mitigate environmental impacts caused by new or modified transportation facilities. A total of $7 million will be available this grant cycle. The online application is due Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 5 pm. More information about the application and project requirement can be found here.

The Resources Agency will be holding several technical assistance workshops in May to provide guidance in preparing grant applications. Information on locations and times here.
