Volunteers Needed: California State Fair

Volunteers are needed for the Green Dream Climbing Experience and Ask the Arborist booth at the California State Fair from July 10th – 26th. Trees and Drought Workshop

There will be a Trees and Drought: Using Water Wisely workshop Thursday June 25th in Santa Rosa, Ca. The information shared will be on how to minimize impacts to new and established trees during the drought. It will cover the response of trees to water deficits, how to measure soil moisture status, situations where trees should be irrigated and much more. To register click here!

Australian Trees Workshop

Expert of Australian trees, Dean Nicolle, will be teaching a workshop with Matt Ritter a Cal Poly Biology Professor on Wednesday July 1st at the Huntington Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, Ca. The focus of the workshop will be on Australian trees that can survive a dryer climate. The workshop costs $120 and the proceeds go to support student projects at the Cal Poly Plant Conservatory. California River Parkways Grant Program

California River Parkways Grant Program!! Application period is between June 1st and September 1st. For guidelines and more information click here.
