CalEPA Decision Released on Disadvantaged Communities

Today, the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment released a decision on the identification of Disadvantaged Communities for the State’s Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Fund and the requirements under SB 535 (de Leon) to commit 25% of the funds to Disadvantaged Communities.  

This decision applies to the 100% of the funds for the CalFire Urban Forestry Program. Projects must be located within or directly benefit a Disadvantaged Community.

Concept Proposals are due to CalFire on November 13, 2014.
