Outreach and Education
We put on workshops throughout the year and an annual conference. Topics have included: Leading in your Community; The Built Environment & Public Health; Tree Risk & Urban Forestry; Saving our Children from Nature Deficit Disorder, and more.
Community-Based Activities
Our Invest From the Ground Up program is a public awareness program consisting of two parts:
1) Education and outreach to civically-minded Californians in order to encourage the care of trees and green spaces.
2) Large scale regional tree plantings across the state for carbon sequestering and air pollution reduction.
Collaborative Action
With a focus on building a strong coalition, we work with other statewide organizations such as the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture and California ReLeaf.
