Bio: Jimi Scheid is CAL FIRE’s Regional Urban Forester for the San Francisco Bay and North Coast areas of California. He is a Registered Professional Forester, ISA Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist, and current Western Chapter ISA President. He possesses a host of Incident Command System qualifications which serve him on the many wildfires he has responded to around the state. He believes that urban forest managers and arborists have an increasingly crucial role in the management and mitigation of forest communities pre-and post-fire.
