Parks and Green Spaces Deliver Lasting Mental Health Benefits
New study shows that green space in towns and cities could lead to significant and sustained improvements in mental health!
This is one of the first studies to look at these long-term effects. And they found on average, movers to greener areas experienced an immediate improvement in mental health that was sustained for at least three years after they moved. Likewise moves to more built up environments did also have negative results to mental health but these were short-term.
