Meha Senthil is passionate about the environment and is currently working on a circular economy initiative to provide reusable food serviceware to schools. When she lived in Bangalore, she worked with high school students across the city to make social or environmental impact through the Changemaker Challenge. Meha volunteers readily at her children’s schools, where she has implemented a mural project in middle school and is currently trying to reduce the shade desert in high school. She is also active in her daughter’s BSA troop, where she enjoys being a counselor for the citizenship merit badges. Meha has an MBA and has worked in the Consulting and Energy industries. On a personal level, Meha finds joy in touching the smooth red bark of a manzanita tree, observing the symmetrical growth of an agave attenuata and watching the San Diego hills change color while she hikes them. Her work at CAUFC is driven by a need to share this joy from the natural world with as many Californians as possible.
