Are you applying for the latest CalFire Urban Forestry grants?
Have you figured out how to do the GHG calculations?
New quantification methods and a new Excel tool were released a couple of weeks ago that must be used this time around. In many ways, they’re a lot easier than the last round, but there are still some tricky parts. Tune in with us and Kelaine Ravdin of Urban Ecos on Friday, December 9 at 10 am PST for a webinar that will make it all clear.
The presentation will:
- Cover the basics of the new methodology
- Discuss how the new way is different from the old
- Walk you through a sample project
- Answer any questions that arise
Kelaine’s experience with the Tree Carbon Calculator and i-Tree Streets (both feature in the new methods) dates back to her years with the US Forest Service’s Center for Urban Forest Research and the drafting of the Urban Forest GHG Project Protocols. Urban Ecos has also helped many organizations perform their GHG calculations for both grant applications and reporting.
Limited to 100 places. Register here.
Webinar log in details will be emailed to you after registering.
