Blog Opportunity: CaUFC Wants to Hear From You!!!
“The California Urban Forests Council is inviting those interested to write a short 400 word blog focused on urban and community trees for our Invest From the Ground Up website. Please share your insight on how trees benefit your community. Topics could range from the character trees give to a community, right tree in the right place, how trees create safer neighborhoods, or their contribution to the economic vitality of a community. These are only a few examples of the many benefits and co-benefits trees provide us. Please be creative and let us know how trees make an impact in your community! Blog posts may be sent in Word document form to [email protected]. Thank you and have a tree-mendous day!”
CaUFC Looking for Volunteer
CaUFC is looking for a qualified volunteer from Southern California to represent us in an on-going dialogue with the Audubon Society regarding tree trimming during bird nesting season. If interested, please contact Nancy Hughes by May 1st at [email protected] – thanks!
