American Forests: Request for Proposals

American Forests

American Forests, a leading national conservation organization, is announcing a request for proposals to select 3 new cities to participate in their Community ReLeaf urban forestry initiative. With support from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service, they provide an average of $100,000 in services and funding to each participating city in the form of: 

  • An urban tree canopy assessment using i-Tree software;
  • Funds for strategic tree planting;
  • Outreach, policy and technical resources to improve long-term management of the local tree canopy.
Proposals are due by July 31st
