I am a consulting arborist and trainer living in Auburn, CA, with 40 years of municipal tree management, public administration, and urban forestry experience. I am passionate about the role of trees as community infrastructure and performing tree work to industry standards and best practices using well-written specifications. The trees in our communities do not recognize boundaries, cannot move, and contribute to a high quality of life where people live. We only gain the benefits from growing trees. Just planting trees doesn’t work if they don’t grow.
