Take Action to Protect California’s Forests!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is proposing to close the U.S. Forest Service Region 5 Office in Vallejo and move California’s representation to Utah.
This would leave California’s 20 million acres of national forests and millions of urban trees with less support, slower response, and greater risk.
The deadline to act is September 30.

Subject:Keep the USFS Region 5 Office Open
Body: Californians want the USFS Region 5 Office in Vallejo, California to remain open with the current staff. California’s 819,401 acres of urban forests, and 20 million acres of USFS-managed rural forests, warrant keeping this office open with current staffing.
