I am a consulting arborist and trainer living in Auburn, CA, with 40 years of municipal tree management, public administration, and urban forestry experience. I am passionate about the role of trees as community infrastructure, and performing tree work to industry standards and best practices using well-written specifications. The trees in our communities do not recognize boundaries, cannot move, and contribute to a high quality of life where people live. We only gain the benefits by growing trees. Just planting trees doesn’t work if they don’t grow.
I am a member of the board and committed to lead CaUFC to improve the health and quality of life in our communities for those who live in them, through trees. Growing trees where people live has been an area of personal passion and professional expertise for me for over 40 years. I have served as a public servant, and am currently a consulting arborist. As a volunteer board member at CaUFC, I especially appreciate the grassroots efforts collaborating with people in their communities, and the state and federal policy advocacy CaUFC has consistently excelled in. I am proud to have served on the Board since 2014.
I hope that knowing me, and my commitment to quality and good causes, you can help support the great work at CaUFC.
